HP Inc Amplifies Channel Program

(JULY 16, 2020) - HP Inc has unveiled a new streamlined partner program, HP Amplify, which is built on a single, integrated structure.

In what the company calls “a first-of-its-kind” global channel partner program, the promise is to “drive dynamic partner growth and deliver consistent end customer experiences”. The program comes into effect November 1 for commercial partners, with retail partners slated to transition in the second half of 2021.

HP said by consolidating its best products, tools and training into one intuitive scheme, Amplify removes complexity, making it easier for members to take advantage of its benefits. Replacing the current Partner First program, there are now just two clearly defined tracks – Synergy and Power.

Synergy comprises the foundational track where partners will reap the value of HP’s channel ecosystem with a minimum threshold sales commitment or through certifications. Meanwhile, in the Power track, members that demonstrate deeper collaboration with HP will see an increased return on their investment in the form of more significant rewards, data insights, sales and tech resources, and marketing support that drives new sales and renewals.

The program is designed to incentivize partners based on more criteria than just sales revenue. HP Amplify measures rewards based on new performance indicators, including investing in and improving digital skills, service delivery capabilities, e-commerce and omni-channel experiences and secure data collaboration. In other words, the more a partner invests in value-added services and capabilities, the better the rewards.

Designed to enable progressive go-to-market strategies that cater to a combination of transactional, contractual and hybrid selling models, channel partners will be measured across three core pillars: performance, capabilities and collaboration. - (OPI)
