HP and Brother Launch Partner Programs |
HP and Brother Launch Partner Programs(November 3, 2020) - EM technology firms HP Inc and Brother have each announced the launch of new programs for their channel partners. HP has gone live with the Amplify global channel partner program it announced a few months ago. Built on one integrated structure, Amplify has two tracks called Synergy and Power, with the latter offering a deeper collaboration between HP and its resellers in areas such as data sharing. The uptake of Amplify within the channel has been impressive – the company has announced that 99% of commercial revenue partners are now registered. Retail partners are set to be onboarded in the second half of 2021. Meanwhile, in the UK, Brother says it has strengthened its support for resellers with the launch of a new partner program that includes enhanced commercial incentives and benefits. It replaces the previous scheme, which categorized partners under reseller gold and platinum tiers, primarily based on their sales volumes. The updated program will see the OEM structure its support packages around its professional print product range that incorporates its business solutions and managed print service (MPS) offerings. Resellers delivering high-volume MPS contracts, which will fall into the new Solution Business Partner and Business Partners categories, will receive increased rewards along with access to exclusive products. Technology Partners and Focus Partners will continue to benefit from monthly promotions and dedicated account management. They will also have access to a range of sales and marketing tools available via the online partner portal, BrotherZone. “Demand for MPS will continue to grow,” said Liam Fitzgerald, Head of Reseller and Distribution Sales at Brother UK. “Not only are more firms recognizing the productivity and cost benefits that come from having access to a managed service, but IT leaders are looking for new ways of equipping dispersed work forces with better technology that they can track and manage remotely.” - OPI |
