Passing of Barb Schmit |
Passing of Barb SchmitIt is with great sadness that PSA announces the passing of their friend and teammate Barb Schmit. Barb has been an integral and much valued part of our PSA family for the last five years .…. always professional with a great attitude and full of team spirit. Having spent fifteen years with Esselte prior to her time with PSA, Barb was known by everyone in the Southern California OP industry for her hard work, honesty and friendliness. A great college athlete, Barb loved sports (loved her Seattle Seahawks!) and kept the Golden State Travelers Club golf tournament and other events going for many years. She was always the first to volunteer to help with local charities like the City of Hope, or work on the ‘City of Downey’ Rose Parade float. She loved all animals…especially dogs! And all those 1,000 piece finished puzzles she would proudly display! How nice it was to receive a beautiful hand-made trivet and Christmas tree ornaments from her. She loved her arts and crafts and loved to display at the local fairs. Barb, in a last unselfish act is an organ donor and will be again helping many, many people. Donations can be made to the Red Cross and COH. Barb will be truly missed by her partner Cindy, her family, many friends, industry associates and all of us at Team PSA. We can only hope in our lifetime to be as good a person as Barb Schmit was! If you would like to send Cindy a note here is her contact information: Cindy Bock, [email protected] (Bob Enk, PSA) |
